Meg is an artist living and working in San Francisco. Her dreamlike works grasp at something deeply imbedded in a collective consciousness. Meg depicts memories that perhaps never occurred, but that we long for nonetheless. Memories of childhood songs, imaginary spaces, and the contentedness of simple times beckon to us from the paper.
From the artist: “Most times I feel that everything profound to say has already been said, so I recycle - drawing simple structures and plants and human forms more similar to those I drew when I was little - basic symbols of the earthly experience.”
